more on last page - Crying at my desk - this is embarassing but I don't care.

A co-worker just came up to me and went 'Congratulations!'

I looked at her and she said 'On the baby - great news!'

I told her No, and she goes 'but you can tell'

I said no again

and she goes 'oh sorry, it just looked a little. . . '

I walked away and I'm crying at my desk and hoping no one sees

I'm trying to hard to lose weight, its just discouraging. I didn't realize I looked THAT bad

I just needed to tell someone and I'm embarassed to tell anyone at work.

DO NOT be upset! PEOPLE ARE DUMB! my coworker actually RUBBED MY BELLY the other day because she was SO sure that I was pregnant.

I am thin, I gained weight since the wedding but I DO NOT look pregnant AT ALL. I do not know why people feel the need to spew out whatever pops into their brains.

this has happen to me, i went to pick something up in ritaide and this woman come rushing over and said ' oh you can't pick that up in your condition'

OMG are you kidding me. First of all even if you were pregnant if you didn't announce it it would be rude anyway. I have seen your pictures and you DO NOT look pregnant. I know its hard to lose weight. I hope she feels like S**t now.

I have a thyroid problem AND I am a diabetic. I have the same problem -- a distended tummy. I've been asked if I'm pregnant at least 5 times in the last year.
People are fucknig rude and should mind their own business.
My stomach is looking much better these days thanks to a new diet and more thyroid meds but now I can't shake the thought that I'll look preggers in my dress.
Don't be ashamed of being human and crying!
I do suggest that you visit your doctor though just to make sure there is not an underlying cause and next time tell the person, 'Congratulations to you TOO! When are YOU due?'
