more on last page - Crying at my desk - this is embarassing but I don't care.

A co-worker just came up to me and went 'Congratulations!'

I looked at her and she said 'On the baby - great news!'

I told her No, and she goes 'but you can tell'

I said no again

and she goes 'oh sorry, it just looked a little. . . '

I walked away and I'm crying at my desk and hoping no one sees

I'm trying to hard to lose weight, its just discouraging. I didn't realize I looked THAT bad

I just needed to tell someone and I'm embarassed to tell anyone at work.

She prolly has low self esteem and noticed you had lost a little weight and decided to be a biotch. All woman know better than to assume. Thats why i usually assume woman who say this to another woman are just doing it to be mean.

I ran the half back in May.

I exercise a lot, the weight just doesn't come off fast for me. I've never been like 'skinny' and I don't think I ever will, but my stomach doesn't pop out THAT much. I have a pooch, but that hardly makes me look pregnant.

OMG!!!!! Honey, I am soooooo sorry this is happening to you. I mean, what are they, in 3rd grade? Things like that happened to me then and it ****** then and I know it ***** even when you are older. Ignore it, talk on the phone, go about your business, PRETEND you are on the phone, whatever. (I do that whenever asssssclown in my office leaves his little area and walks past me, so that he cannot speak to me.)

I often wish I could do things like this when people say mean things to me, but I can't - either can Coleen, she is too nice. Sometimes, being a genuinely nice person has its downfalls.

But most of the time, it's the way to be. Coleen is living evidence of that

I am a very nice person also and would never intentionally hurt someone's feelings, however, when backed in a corner, it's amazing the things that will come flying out of my mouth. I'd definitely get even with her even if it were a week from now.

I don't want to cause any drama, I just want people to drop it You would think someone would have the common sense to point out that its not funny and they shouldn't keep bringing it up to me.

I made it very clear to the last person that said something to me that I'm offended and they need to stop. I'm guessing he spread the word.
