A co-worker just came up to me and went 'Congratulations!'

I looked at her and she said 'On the baby - great news!'

I told her No, and she goes 'but you can tell'

I said no again

and she goes 'oh sorry, it just looked a little. . . '

I walked away and I'm crying at my desk and hoping no one sees

I'm trying to hard to lose weight, its just discouraging. I didn't realize I looked THAT bad

I just needed to tell someone and I'm embarassed to tell anyone at work.

i agree i think she is bitter - bc even if i know someone is pregnant unless they have actually told me i will not go up to them and make a comment - i wait for them to bring it up - the person could be undeniably pregnant and i wont say anything - there was a girl in my office - i dont think i said anything to her until her 8th month i think this co-worker is an a-hole

thats just flat out rude personally i wouldnt even say that to a 'pregnant lady' unless i knew 100% that she was pregnant I am sure you do not look pregnant I sometimes wear those a-line shirts and once i went to go get my eyebrows done and the lady asked me if i was pregnant i said no the best part was she said are you sure
ahh i think i would have some type of idea if i was pregnant dont let anyone bring you down because of their ignorance

Its just so frustrating, and I would never say that to anyone unless I was sure I just feellike she obviously must have really thought it to say it.

Dont feel discouraged, and im sure you dont look bad. Dont let an idiot bring you down. You are beautiful and you said you are trying hard so feel proud about that, keep up what youre doing and dont let 1 person make you feel differently

didn't you/aren't you training for a half?? what the eff has she done lately?? that's a huge accomplishment.
