I think it will be pretty much the same margin of victory she had against Lazio - around 47% to 41% (it was something like that). Enough of a victory to re-elect her - but I dont think she'll get the 'mandate' she's looking for to support a presidential bid.

and yes, Bill Clinton, a politician, lied - They ALL do, regardless of party.

Pirro is a b*tch.

Hillary doesn't exactly strike me as warm and fuzzy herself

While I wouldn't vote for Mrs. Clinton if she were up against a gnat, I agree - Pirro won't beat her. But there's nothing saying that Pirro's even going to get the nomination anyway. It's entirely possible, and I personally believe likely, that Guilliani will throw his hat in the ring too.

Now THERE'S a contest I'd like to see

i ABSOLUTELY agree. I wouldnt vote for hillary ever

YES! Why are people so upset over this? It's not like we went to war over his lie...no, that would be our current President.

They all lie - it's POLITICS! But it's the extent of the lie that hurts the public...why hasn't the current President been impeached yet?

They don't all break the law with their lies. He lied under oath about using his power as President of the United States to gain sexual favors from one of his interns.

That's not disturbing to you??

As far as 'it didn't lead us to war' - nope, it lead us to September 11th. While Clinton got laid, Osama played. Just something to keep in mind the next time you want to compare presidents

I think both Clinton's should go back to Arkansas and leave NY alone! I can't stand either of them (not that I'm a big Pirro fan either ).

And I have no problems with blow jobs - but I have a problem with our president doing it with someone other than his wife (but seriously---would she?) - and then lying about it.

Yes, you are right...wow, how could I have been so naive and missed THAT...Bill Clinton's infidelity led us to September 11th...wow - thank you for opening my eyes!

I'm guessing you haven't seen Farenheit 9/11? And if you have...it was probably chucked as 'garbage'.

I see how that's the obvious point made...are we still looking for the WMD's BTW? So glad we 'liberated' Iraq for that!

Political views aside (which are clearly different than mine)...I got nothin' but love for ya girlie!

Re: More Politics Pirro vs. Clinton is it even a contest?

Ok, not to incite any flames, but all this talk about Clinton made me remember a forward I was sent, so here it is.....

Dear Mr. Ex-President:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, 'Thank me, I voted for
Clinton-Gore.' So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my
'Thank you' for what you have done, . . . specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica
Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. Did
I
leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really
planned to wait until they were older to discuss it with them, but now they
know more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place
(especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know
is what the meaning of 'is' is. It really is great to know that certain
sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the other one
involved does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new
generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie 'Wag the
Dog' could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look
graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John
Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th
Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying
about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4
imprisonment's from the Whitewater 'mess' and the 55 criminal charges
and
32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other 'Clinton' scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, 'gutting' much of our
foreign policy, and flying all over the world on 'vacations' carefully
disguised as necessary trips.

9. Thank you, also, for 'finding' millions of dollars-I really
didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more well
deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned dollars than jet fuel for
all of your globe-trotting. I understand you; the family and your cronies
have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any other
administration.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of
convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will love to have them
rejoin society.

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware, I'm sure that
Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming
gifts you've received from your 'friends.'

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for
vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also
appreciate removing all of that excess weight (China,
silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass, flight
manuals, etc.) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means burning less
fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel, thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar
advance for her upcoming 'tell-all' book and you, Bill, the $5 million
advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay!

14. The last and most important point- thank you for forcing Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to
release so-called 'political prisoners.' However, the Israelis would not
release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the
time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, 'insisted'
that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually
thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade
Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the
time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports.

Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth? What a guy!! If you agree
that the American public must be made aware of these facts, pass this on.

God bless America and THANK YOU (once again) for spending my taxes so
wisely and frugally.

SINCERELY,
A US Citizen

PS Please pass along a special thank you to Al Gore for 'inventing' the
Internet, without which I would not be able to send this wonderful letter.

See? this is why speaking about Politics is so taboo...it causes horrible fights and nitpicking.

I now look as people who I thought I liked and am left wondering ' how can you honestly think like that?'

Kind of shallow to have someone's political views change your entire opinion of them, no?

I agree! I still *heart* Eileen!

I don't expect many people to think like me...my background, age, income and place of birth all effect how I think about politics and see the world...kinda hard to find a lot pf people who feel the way I do - but I still respect those who don't and don't think any less of them. Actually, my best friend is a closet Republican.

Well I like to think of myself as a Republocrat Republican on the realistic issues and... well, can't quite bring myself to say it but a little less conservative on social ones

What are you defining as 'the realistic issues?' I am guessing financial and tax related ones are in there, but what else?

I CANT SPEAK FOR EILEEN BUT FROM WHAT SHE SAYS, I CAN SAY I HAVE VERY SIMILAR VIEWS.

REALISTIC TO ME IS ECONOMY, DEFENSE, IMMIGRATION, TAXES, EDUCATION. THOSE ARE THINGS THAT AFFECT EVERYONE EVERY DAY

WHAT I AM LESS CONSERVATIVE ABOUT IS STEMCELL RESEARCH, GAY RIGHTS (LET THEM DO WHAT THEY WANT! MARRY AND BE HAPPY, ETC.), AND ABORTION.

Thanks! That's exactly what I meant. It was also, of course, a little dig (couldn't resist ). In the end, though, those things come first and foremost - they are way more important to me than the social issues because, IMO while obviously it's great to have rights, you have to be alive and have a job to enjoy them.

I guess I see things as less black and white than that, and think that many of the social issues are intertwined with the ones you are calling realistic. I do not have party affiliation, and lean more to the liberal side of things, but tend to be a bit more conservative on financial matters.

Was really just trying to understand a different point of view.
