FH and I are currently trying to decide what to do. How many of you ladies had a brunch for the OOT guests the next morning? Is it necessary? I feel like its something we should do as a courtesy considering they are spending the money on the hotel but it seems to be so expensive. We think we may end up with about 60-80 OOT guests. His parents and my father being some of the OOT people. We are torn bc we feel like we should have brunch the next day with our parents but then it becomes a large group because his moms sisters are also from OOT and they will want to come too and my dad has his oot guests and the next thing you know we are up to about 50 people! and we of course want to include the bridal party since they are spending a lot of money on the wedding too. what are you ladies planning to do?

Re: morning after brunch
If anything, we might do a brunch the next morning at my parents house. Just order in some bagels, muffins, salads, etc. Otherwise it just becomes way too much money!!

Re: morning after brunch
my mother lives in an apt as do we so having it at a house wont work. I didnt think about that ticket thing...thats not a bad idea. they can then come and go as they please and we can do whatever we want! ill have to speak to the hotel about that

Re: morning after brunch
We decided against it. When FH's brother had one in NC, very few people showed, even though it was free and there were a lot of OOT guests. We thought about doing vouchers which the hotel said we could, but we'd have to pay for them in advance I think and I don't want to waste that money. We are paying for a shuttle for them and we really are stretching ourselves to pay for that. We are going wine tasting the next day (casually, no limos or organized tours or anything) so we are offering to spend extra time with people that came a long way. We are also inviting them to a RD so we are giving them one meal.

Re: morning after brunch
The hotel next to our RH has a complimentary breakfast so IF we have a day after brunch, we will all just pick a time to meet.
My FH is ADAMANTLY against having one though.
He's going to be 'too hung over.' Fricken lush

My mother wants to host something at the hotel the next day. Not 100% sure what it's going to entail but...

Re: morning after brunch
We are hosting a breakfast at the hotel. We are renting one of the meeting rooms in our hotel and having it catered. It is expensive, but my and my FH's parents were adamant about it. I'm pretty sure they will pay for the whole thing though, if not at least half.

My mom wants to do this too... not sure how it's all going to happen, but I guess we'll figure that out when it gets closer to the date...
