My mom got her dress at Alta Moda in the Bellmore/Merrick aread. It is more of a fancy dress then mother of the bride.

I haven't been yet, but I am taking my mother to 'My Daughter's Wedding' in Great Neck, I hear it's nice... Have you tried Estelle's?

The Elegant Bride on Willis Ave. has a nice selection at under $1,000. If you want more upscale designer gowns Filly's is practically right across the Avenue so you have that option also.

My Mom got hers at Fillys...they have a beautiful selection. Ihave never seen her look so great in anything (she also got her dress their for my brothers wedding 6 years ago). A bit pricey, don't know waht your budget is, if you FM me, I can tell you the average cost
My Future MIL got hers at Meka in Woodburry...also beautiful stuff and pricey as well!

Paradise Bridal in Patchogue. That is where my mother is going to gettting her dress from.

They have a decent selection and they custom make dresses as well...

If money is a concern, try the Wedding Center in Commack. My MIL ordered her dress there after seeing it more expensive at 2 other stores.

My mom got her dress at Blanchees on Main St. in East Rockaway Its a dress by Jovani. They have a nice selection there.

My mother got her dress at Totally You in Merrick = she also has bought dresses in Dina's in Plainview.
