Thank GOD DH doesn't listen to Sigur Ros! He used to...along with God Speed You Black Emperor! It seemed like the albums would never end!

Now he is into Lamb of God (b/c there always has to be one good metal band!) which I can tolerate. When he puts in the Minus the Bear album I'm ok with that but somehow he got hooked on the new Green Day album. That was ok the first couple times he played it but now he knows that it can't be played when I'm in the car!

I like most of what DH lsitens too, but have any of you heard of Lorena McKenitt?

oh Lord, she's this crazy Canadian chic, who sings these God-awful yodel/operatic tales of tragic events. It seems very rennaisance literature inspired, but I just CAN'T stand what she does with her voice & the songs go on FOREVER.

He knows to listen to it in the car on his way to work.

Most of the music I like my FH likes also, but sometims he listens to hard rock and metal and I hate both. I can't stand to listen to either.

FH was never really 'into music'. He loves Offspring and umm..some austrailian garage band..ummm...the living end...ick...

he also loves 80's pop, but not good 80's pop. I want to smack him every tme he sings 99 luftballoons!

On the other hand I blast techno when i work out, he says he'd rather chew glass than hear that.

We're similar in tastes, but he LOVES whiney chick music...I can't stand it! It literally sounds like fingernails on a chalkboard to me!

More so in his single days - but DH likes Electronica/Techno stuff and I hate it!!! Luckily he really doesn't listen to much of it anymore and his turned much more into a Q104 type guy!

i think the fact that dh isnt really into music bothers me. he doesnt like one type and cant name songs or bands. he makes the craziest mixed tapes with barry manilow and odd 60s songs and 70s songs like afternoon delight and margaritaville lol. im an 80s new wave head and i also love 70s soul and i do like freestyle i must admit judy torres almost played at my wedding but she was booked

I love Elvis and oldies and DH can't stand it. He listens to some trancy stuff that makes my head spin. I laos love 80's music, which he claims he doesn't, but he's such a liar!

Honestly, we pretty much have the same exact taste in music. Only problem I had was he liked the new Lindsay Lohan song.

This is a funny question. My FH and I mostly enjoy the same music. We both LOVE Pearl Jam, John Mayer, etc. HOwever, I cannot stand that heavy metal ****. KORN, or like Disturbed. Just shoot me in the head. HE doesn't listen to that crap in the car with me. It makes me nausea
