I can't help but feel this way but I feel like really sad. When I ordered my dress I liked it and just wanted to get a dress. My mom paid like almost $2000 on it. Now I'm having doubts and I feel like I don't like my dress anymore. I don't want to break my moms heart and I think that it is too late to order a dress. I don't know what to do and I really need help, can I exchange my wedding dress? I feel like beyond sad about this. Thank you.
UPDATE: I went to my dress place and tried on my dress and I love it!!!! Thank you girls for your love and support and enjoy the pics (If they post!).

Re: My dress
Its a beautiful dress! Don't worry about feeling this way. I think its totally normal to have doubts especially when making such a large purchase so far in advance. I felt the same way immediately after purchasing my dress. I started wondering if I made the right decision. Just think...something drew you to it in the first place. Trust your instincts. I'm sure once you try it on again you will be happy about your decision. I think a lot of brides feel the same way you do. I think its because we keep looking at so many other pictures of bridal gowns so we keep seeing other ones that we like.

Re: My dress
I had similar issues and I'm still struggling with it but it's a constant sore spot. I wish I still had the time to go get the dress I wanted but I kept talking myself out of it and now it's too late. Hope this helps.

Re: My dress
wait to try it on...also remember that you will have a seamstress at your disposal to help you customize your dress to something you will absolutely love! make sure to get an awesome seamstress and whatever you want to change, they will work with you and tell you what's possible and they will also have awesome ideas! good luck!

Re: My dress
There is nothing wrong with the dress. It is stunning, I love the lace and detailing. It looks so much like the Oscar De LaRenta wedding gown that I loved but could not afford. We all change our mind at some point. There are so many designs coming out on the catwalk due to the changes in season that we over- analyze and think that the details are not enough. I went through that for my wedding and it'll happen to a lot of brides. Don't worry, you'll look amazing on the day of the wedding. If there are certain details that you don't love, just bring it to a seamstress to have it removed or alter the bead work/maybe add swarovski crystal or rhinestones to jazz it up a little.

Re: My dress
It is so easy to second guess yourself, especially when it has been so long. Try to think back to how you felt in it when you put it on. Definitely wait to try it on again before making a decision. Good Luck!!!

Re: My dress
having gone through it myself, and being on this site long enough....I think that more brides have felt this at some point than not. I agree with everyone else, the minute you stop stressing over it, you'll fall in love with your dress all over again. There are so many out there I'm sure we could all fine dozens that we love, but at one time the one you picked made you feel special, that part won't change. you will feel like a bride when you put it on at the first fitting and you won't look back!

If it doesnt work its the Maggie Sottero Rhianna royale.
Theres nothing you can add to it.
That is a very nice dress I love it.

Re: My dress
I think it's a stunning dress.
I think your feelings are normal. I doubted my choice like maybe there is something better even though I loved it. When I went for my first fitting, I loved how I looked in it and have no doubts.
Remember to try it on with some make up and bring a pair of shoes. I even put on a veil to get full effect.
We, as women, will always be picky with clothing...

Re: My dress
First off, I think what you're feeling is totally normal! People doubt their dress all the time because we place SO MUCH importance on it. However, that dress is STUNNING and I am sure you will beautiful in it Also, you could look into chaging things around, like changing the neckline, adding pickups, etc.
Everyone second guesses their opinion. I honestly wouldn't get another dress at this point.

Re: My dress
Hey girls thank you for all of your help and support.
I told my mom how I feel and suprisingly she is not mad. She called where we bought the dress and told them how I feel and they apologized and said that there is nothing that they can do about changing the dress. They can maybe work something out, but 99% they can't.
So me an my mom and my sister (MOH) are going there tommorow to see (Hopefully) if I still have that loving feeling I had when I still got it!
I hope tomorrow I will write back that I love it! (Let's hope!!!!)
And again, thanks girls!

That dress is beuatiful!! Before i was even close to getting engaged I wanted that dress!!
It will look stunning on you! Wait until you try it on and then let us know how you feel! If it helps, try doing up your makeup and hair a bit and adding any shoes, jewelry you may have to see a more complete image.
