Re: my e-ring - im sad!
im going to try and make it to the TK appointment - i mapquested the directions from SI to NYC to NJ and then into LI and we 'might' be able to make it in time.....i already know what piece im getting and TK already told me i dont need to come in, i can just place the order over the phone - but i did want to go there and see some of his other stuff and check out some veils - it just ***** b/c i was going to go with my fsil and friend but now if i go it has to be with FH b/c there is not time to get the girls in staten island and i dont want to drag them to a m/u trial and wedding band shopping ....i really dont trust another jeweler with my ring - and its bad enough i cant wear it until saturday - i just feel like the ring is priority especially since we can only go on saturdays to see the jeweler - at least my FH wants to look at wedding bands while we are there so it wont be a wasted trip....its just not how i expected the day to turn out at all

Yep, it happened to my FH's sister (had the ring for prob 10 months) and their jewler said every 6 months you should get it looked at/tightened.

well at least im getting excited to look at wedding bands - the last time i got my ring checked i picked one out that i really liked but we weren't ready to order yet - we figured we would go in october to decide and place the orders but i guess it cant hurt to go sooner and check out some bling its just having the m/u trial and then the TK appointment already felt like a lot to do in one day!

Thomas Knoell was a lot of fun too. I got my headpiece there and enjoyed trying on a lot of his designs and jewlery too!

Re: my e-ring - im sad!
If you don't want to wait- Good Old Gold is a fantastic, reputable jewelery store. They have been around for years and years!
i am so bummed - i feel like everything is going wrong lately i know its not a big deal but this is such an inconveinence - we planned on going to the jeweler next month for wedding bands but i guess we'll just do it this weekend since the jeweler is out of the way for us...now i cant wear my ring all week - im going to feel naked!
Think of it on the bright side...you get to shop for your wedding band even sooner! You'll be so happy doing that, that you won't mind that you had to cancel your TK appointment. Find a place in Jersey that you and FH can eat out at after...make it a fun day for you. Thank God that you heard it and the diamond didn't just fall out! Be positive.....sorry this happened though : (

Re: my e-ring - im sad!
this happened to me...they told me it could have just been something that made its way into the ring somehow...but i took it to the jeweler and they tightened everything and it went away! its very common...dont worry!

dont stress, it only takes seconds to tighten a setting! You can just stop in and they do it...
