FI is concerned it's a lot of sightseeing and very little relaxing time. What do you think? I think we get to do both b/c we're on a cruise ship. I really want to go on this cruise but he's not loving it :( Thoughts?

Re: My Honeymoon Itinerary???
That is almost exactly my hm- we came home exausted! Your hm is a once in a lifetime trip, make it worth it. Getting to Rome a few days early is a great idea, there is so much to do there, I wish we had more time there. There were a lot of laid back romantic excursions offered on our cruise, we did a lot of them, and not so many of the active run up a mountain ones. You dont have to get off the boat at every port either, but I would recommend it, you dont want to regret missing a day. If your fh is concerned about relaxing, why dont you take a few days at the end to relax, instead of going a few days early?

Re: My Honeymoon Itinerary???
That sounds amazing. I would love to do that trip. FH and I wanted to do Europe for our HM but decided to do a Carribean resort to just relax. But since you have the ship days in between, it will probably be a good balance.

my opinion? choose three on that list, and spend 4-6 days at each of them.... I've been to about 2/3 of the list, but for a week each. I don't think you could even get anything out of 1 day at each... except for gibraltar... london, paris, lisbon, rome, barcelona, florence and the others all take sooo long to truly experience. some of those cities (paris, rome, london, lisbon) I found required at least 2-3 trips on their own....
I have to agree. I think it's way too much jumping around and you really won't get to experience the countries you're visiting. I say pick one or two and really explore and experience what those countries have to offer or find a cruise line that only has a few city stops.
I agree. I love cruises but don't think they are the most relaxing vacation. You feel guilty if you're in port abd don't get off the ship. Then you're waking up early if you do get off and running around everywhere!!
