My personal experience with Ovulation predictor kits...

This is just my own personal experience, but I wanted to share in the hopes that it may help someone. I was trying those kits and they were telling me I was ovulating around day 16. So thats just when I thought I ovulated. When I went in for my IUI, they had me come in on day 14 just in case and sure enough I was ovulating..and my kit said I wasnt...so I just want to let people know that as much as those kits may be accurate for many people..it can also be inaccurate..it happened to me!! So dont base your whole TTC around the kit..have sex every other day from day 8, 10, 12, 14..thats what I was told..just wanted to share this ..hope it helps!!

Last month my RE was doing blood work to monitor when I would ovulate but he also wanted me to use the OPK...It didn't show that I was ovulating. I don't know if the clomid had an effect on it or not. I was using them at the beginning of the year but who knows if they were really working or not ..I guess not because I am still not pregnant.

I may be very wrong on this..but I think the clomid helps you to develop more follicles..but I dont think it will cause you to ovulate faster..(Dont quote me on that because Im not 100% sure)//I just know the kits were telling me I wasnt ovulating and I really was!
