My reasoning for being MIA since my wedding...

So I haven't been on really at all since my wedding last month and I wanted to share with ou girls why.

Here's some background info first. I found out about my shower b/c I HATE surprises and I needed to know when it was going to be to rest my nerves. I only told DH that I knew and I posted about it on here. Other then that nobody else knew that I knew. So......

At the wedding DH's cousin came up to me and was like 'Oh how was your shower?' (She lives out of state but was still invited.) So I tell her it was great and so much fun. Then she goes 'And did you still act surprised even though you knew about it?' So I play dumb and insist I didn't know about it because we're standing with my mother in law also. So she continues with 'Yeah I know that you knew because of your website.' (Meanig LIW ) So by now my mother in law had gotten distracted so I pulled her aside and said What are you talking about? So she goes on to tell me that she's been reading my comments and everything on here!!! She had to reason to be on here except to spy on me! She's not from NY, she's been married already for a long time so was clearly just being a snoop! I didn't know what to say to her so I just explained my reasoning for finding out the date and walked away. Then I find out that she went and said something to my mother in law when she found out.

Not for nothing but isn't this very psychotic and stalker-ish of her to be doing? And then to go and tell other people what you've read? To me it's just very creepy behavior and to me she should get a life.

So ever since then I've been kind of turned off to LIW. I have been lurking and reading people's posts. Megan (Soon2beMrsD) your pics are beautiful! Congrats! I hope I can get over this and come back b/c I really miss you girls!

First of all....if I was to stalk someone's anything, I would NEVER EVER fess up to doing it! Why is she reading your comments on this website anyway? How did she know you were even on here?
Maybe she read what you just wrote. That should fix her a$$

My FSIL comes on here and spies on me (HI SHANNON!) but she already told me she does it and she'd never take anything she found on here and announce it at my wedding. That's just wrong and rude. I don't blame you for not wanting to come back.

Ok.. I know it's a public site, but VERY weird of someone to come on and stalk you. Don't they have ANYTHING else going on in their life? Come on.. and then to tell.. it was like she was purposely trying to find dirt on you to spill!

problem is people have serious time on their hands and are mentally unstable and that is what happened in your case. Sorry to hear about! Congrats on the wedding though.

You shouldn't have to explain why you wanted to know about shower. My family and friends knows I don't like surprises and they also know how I will react. I think her whole mission was to see if you would own up to it. If it was me and my MIL was there I would have said, 'AND and What is it to you.' That would have close any conversation. Never let anyone have the upper hand plus it was your day. You didn't have to be nice to her because she wasn't nice to you. JMO

eww that is disgusting and creepy and stalkerish. WHAT IS WITH PEOPLE?!?!?!!??!?!?! Ugh! I guess it is all a lesson learned.......I know that there are people on here who are either members or stalkers that read what I write, so I try to watch what I say.....but it doesn't always work lol
I try not to vent about issues that I don't want certain ppl to know about.....but anyway. Now you are married so why don't you change your name and come join me on the Newlyweds board with a clean slate??? People are nuts!

Wow. I cant believe she had the audacity to do this at your wedding. What the f uck is it her business whether you wanted to know about your shower or not. How DARE SHE. You should have asked her to leave the wedding with her crappy attitude. Im so sorry you had to deal with that on your day. She obviously has NO LIFE to sit on a website that has no relevence to her other than to spy on you. Im sorry but this made me furious!

I think that is just CREEPY! I mean anyone who reads all your posts then tells on you.... CREEPY... and to top it off she is a cousin... What business is it of hers??? She trying to get brownie points with the family? I don't think I have any of those... hope not!!! I mean FH reads my posts, actually some of our topics is interesting to him... but no one else knows I post here..

im sorry that happened to you. Its uncomfortable. Thats why I try to keep myself unknown - out of fear of something I say on here. Or just any old plain busy body out there who wants to snoop in my business...

That stinks. . .I have to censor what I write on here too, I have a couple of lurkers (Hi Stacey), not that I would say anything bad about anyone that I think looks on here, but it just shows you that you don't know WHO is looking.

I'm sorry that happened. That was very rude and inconsiderate and I, personally, hope she reads this!! Its such an invasion I feel like.

That is really weird - I would be extremely upset if I found out someone did that to me - this is a place for us (brides) to chat, vent, share, etc. Sorry she did that to you.

Wow, you should feel honored! Instead of living her own life, she finds the world in which you relax in and vent to be her main concern! I wouldn't be upset about it....feel honored knowing that your online life is more interesting then her real life!
