So like most brides before me who have ranted about RSVPs..this is my rant. I just do not understand when you have a stamped, self addressed return envelope and all you need to do is check off 1 little tiny spot, why can't you mail the thing back. I have people emailing FMIL telling us they are coming, but not mailing it back. They were due back last Friday. If you can send an email you can mail it back. we did have one case where FH's friend's kid ate the invitation so they emailed their RSVPs with apologies and one case where someone threw theirs out by accident and i sent them a new one so they could RSVP. What irks me even more is that some of the outstnading RSVPs are easy No's why not just mail the thing back right away when you know you aren't coming and then there are people who recently got married and have gone through this and have not sent in their RSVP. I have never and will never delay on sending and RSVP so i just dont get it when most of the work is done for you why people just can't do it.
Errr.
Thanks for reading.

We all went through the same thing, so here are some .
Now for the funny RSVP story that I have yet to tell. The Friday before my Sunday wedding I got an email asking if there was room for ONE more person. I replied yes, and told said person that the RSVP card that came with the invite was specifically for that purpose. He replied 'dont worry you'll get it' and I did. He wrote congrats on it added some cash and stuck it in my photo cube!!

Re: My turn- RSVP vent
We had problems with our RSVP for our engagment party. His moms brother never sent it back. We knew he was comming but they just never sent it. So his mom called and they claimed they mailed it our almost 2 weeks before. I got it 2 days after they called and it was post marked the day after. And they even complained cause there daughters boy friend who we never even met wasn't invited!!!! She was like 16 also. Who invites boyfriends of cousins when there 16 and only going out like 2 months???!!!!

Re: My turn- RSVP vent
The number people right down or DONT RIGHT DOWN is another issue in itself. Do we have to include instruction's on how to use them. I sent one to a 'the ****** Family' and they send it back Mr & Mrs. and meanwhile I already know there kids are coming. If I didnt know I would of assumed 2 instead of the 5 that are actually coming. That is a huge difference.
I started with 192 total and so far I have 75 accepts and 18 regret.
I am still waiting on 47 replies and they have till next Friday.
