my vegetarian menu- tell me what you think

i know 99% of you are meat eaters and prob 85% of my guests are as well

I am going to post my sample menu - its not finalized but i want to know if this stuff sounds yummy or not to the avg meat eater.

1) Eggplant Rollatini
2) Pan Seared Seitan over mushroom orzo w/ red wine sauce
3) Rissoto w/butternut squas, parsnips, cranberries & hazelnut

Side items-
Broccoli Rabe
Roasted Potatoes w/rosemary

I still have a few more to think of.

im a dumbass- its roasted potatoes not mushrooms!

thats great for you and I understand your beleifs and all but I woundnt eat anything on that menu except for the potatos. you arent concerned that your guest may be upset? I would at least add a pasta dish!

Um Yum!

I'm a meat eater yes, but these sound fabulous, I would probably order them at a wedding instead of meat anyway.

our vegetarian choice is a wrap.... it is a whole wheat wrap with beans and rice... something lik ethat could be aqn option too!

I say # 3. I am a little iffy about the sietan. I never had it and I am a meat eater. Even if i knew it was a sub for meat, I'd go with the rissotto. JMO hope I dont offend.

We went to a vegetarian wedding and the menu wasn't half as good as yours sounds! Sounds like great options with lots of choices for those who eat meat.

I made sure to have quiet a few vegetarian options

I'm having
mushroom Ravioli
Pasta Primavera
Baggars Purse (philo dough stuffed with grilled veggies)
vegetable dim sum
Gucamole/salsa
quesadillas

I also had to make sure the cheese was of a certain brand so I was able to add some dishes with cheese for the strict vegetarians

I would definitely add a pasta to the main course. It will be a crowd pleaser for those who arent a big fan of the other stuff. What about adding a portobello mushrooms dish. I know a lot of beef eaters love them cause they give the illusion you are eating meat.

also agree on adding pasta to main course...

how about meatless lasagna... usually that would satisfy non vegie lovers...

to be honest my FH doesn't like vedies at all... but would totaly go for lasagna

What are the rules on fish? Sorry I know vegetarians that eat fish? But I know that some don't too...

Lasagna?
Maybe Veggie Lasagna?
