My Wedding - 9/21/01 (very long)

I can't believe it's over!!! It goes by so quickly! Where do I begin... Reception: John Anthony's The food was outstanding and the service was unbelievable! Everyone keeps commenting on how much food was there! I don't think anyone ate there desert because they were so stuffed! Thank goodness we didn't get the Vienese hour like I originally was thinking of! The staff was outragous! We had arranged for pastrys and cookie trays on the tables when the desserts came out and so much was left over they paked them all up for us... I didn't finally get to try one until the next day...but they were fantastic! Not one bad comment at all about them! Anyone booked there, don't worry about a thing! DJ: Invitation to Dance Rick did an amazing job! The dance floor was packed the whole time! I was a little upset that he didn't do a couple of things that we had talked about prior to the event but when it was all said and done nobody seemed to miss anything and everything was fantastic! I would highly reccomend them to anyone!!! :) Flowers: Flowers Michelle Everything was breath taking!!! people were practically fighting over them! My parents are still hearing about how unbelieveable the centerpieces were from their friends! They are unbelievablly priced and John is the sweetest guy! I have already told my brother that when the time comes he must go to him and not even think about anyone else! Photographer / Videographer: De Ja Vu Studios our photographer was a very nice man and had us finished in a flash! Me and my husband keep saying that we never even saw the video guy all night! I guess that's a good thing! Also, you have to sign a card to release the photographer at the end of the night so you know exactly when he leaves and you know for sure that he didn't run out before the end of the reception! Limo: Coachman Well, I know there was a lot written about them in the recent months and I had my share of rough spots with them in the last month before the wedding but the day of they really pulled through! We hired the 28 passenger bus and it was so awesome! Everybody had a blast on it! They were on time and very professional through the whole time that they were with us! I have not one complaint about them!!! Honeymoon: Los Cabos This was where the disaster happened!!! The first 2 days were unbelieveable!!! It was all so gorgeous!!! Than a hurricane hit and we spent a week in the hotel lobby! This resort area is where the dessert meets the sea and we were told it never gets hit with storms! I guess lucky us that we got to witness first hand a majorly freakish event! Anyway, we weren't alone! we spent the time with 3 other honeymooning couples and tried to make the best of the events! Hopefully we can get a refund or a replacement trip from our travel agent and we can take a replacement honeymoon in about 6 months!!! I guess everyone has there wedding horro stories...mine just happened on my honymoon for a week! At least I have the man that I love and we are safe and sound back in America!!! :) If anyone has any questions..or I missed something just let me know!!!

We were really hoping for the 'Dollar Dance' and some other crowd participation things but in the end we didn't need any of that...our crowd was up there doing there own thing the whole time on their own!!! Rick is really a great guy and a great MC...don't worry about a thing!!! he does an amazing job!!!

Terri - How did the Chapel work out? *NM*

The chapel worked out well!!! The officiants were a bit kooky!!! when i said 'I do' (they tried to break the ice and make it a bit comical)the Rev asked me 'Is that your final answer?' My jaw just dropped!!! In the end everyone laughed about it!
