I'm so very sorry for your loss. How awful for all concerned, and especially for your poor mom.

I have heard of this happening at at least two weddings. In fact, a friend of mine lost her father when he had a heart attack at her wedding reception. The only comfort to be taken from it is that you know your uncle was happy and surrounded by people he loved.

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.

I'm so sorry that happened to you and for your families loss.

Unfortunately, I have heard of it happening. A family friend passed away at a wedding and then at his sons wedding a relative collapsed. It such a horrible thing to happen anytime, but even more so when its supposed to be a happy occasion.

So sorry you are going through this. I was at a wedding where the father of the bride passed away right on the dance floor as well. Same way. The only consolation is that he saw you married and he was hopefully having a good time when it happened for his sake. For you, well, all the hugs in the world.

My friend's dad had a heart attack at her wedding. He didn't pass away though. You poor guys- especially your mom, how rough. I am soooo sorry.

Very Very sorry about your loss. I actually heard about something like this that happened. One of my friends' uncle passed away at one of her cousin's wedding but the night of the wedding. Everyone stayed at a hotel because the wedding was in New Jersey and everyone lived in Long Island. It was devastating for everyone to find out at the time for breakfast that her uncle had passed away. They said it was from physical exertion(dancing) and the alcohol consumption.
