navy blue in the fall

has anyone done navy blue or dark blue dresses for BM's in the fall? If so, what colors did you use for flowers? My friend may do this and I was thinking yellow and maybe orange. If you have pics- please post!!

Thanks for the idea girls. She wants to do orange and reds and yellows and just fall colors in general. She is getting married next fall in a barn type place in Maine. Very Martha Stewart! LOL!

She wanted like a ruby red, but is having a hard time finding dresses she likes that come in that color. She doesn't want anything that is thick or shiny. She really likes the jcrew dresses, but no their red, so I told ehr to think about the navy blue. but she didn't know how it would look with the fall colors. I want to show her it'll look really good!

bill levkoff makes an absolutely gorgeous red- euro red. I got the euro wine and even that is very vibrant and a little shiny

eta- their euro scarlett may be a better choice- its like apple red- gorgeous!

i sent her some of those dresses. I told her to call and order swatches so she can see it. Online those two colors look the same so she def has to see it in person. I sent her a bunch of dresses I liked on their site. I know she wants tea length. Im not sure if she will like any of them or not. So if not, then she may consider the navy blue.

yea I agree- you need to see the colors in person- even when we looked at the sample dress in my color- it was not nearly as nice as what we got when we ordered the dress
