Need a new Salon!!

Hey Ladies! Any suggestions on places to go to get haircuts, highlights, etc?? I'm not too fond of my place anymore. I live in Massapequa , so somewhere in nassau, or western suffolk. Thanks ladies, i know you all have gorgeous hair!!!

I used Salon Menage on Merrick Ave in Wantagh for my wedding, but the shop looked really nice and Michele (who did my hair and makeup)seemed to have a great following

I have been going to Details on Merrick Road in Massapequa for about 2 years now. They do a pretty good job with the cut and color.

I got to nubest. The girl that does my highlights who is fantastic is out on maternity leave but will be back in a few months. Her name is Gina. I get my cut from Sheryl. It is a little costly and annoying there but the color is great!!

Solo in Plainview. They are very expensive though.
I think its $48 for a haircut.

Another vote for Nubest. I have been getting my haircut by Glenn there for about 6 years now. Almost all of the girls in my family, and a few of my girlfriends go there as well and have always been satisfied.

another vote for Self Image in Amityville!! I moved to Rochester 7 months ago and part of the deal with my FH of me moving here was, I get to fly back to LI to see Grazia (the BEST STYLIST EVER!) every 6-8 weeks for a cut!!! That reminds me, I have to schedule a appointment for Thanksgiving!!!

I go to Kara at Hair Effex in Bellmore for highlights and an occasional cut, but try Reme or anyone at Salon D'Arel on N.Jerusalem it is either in N.Bellmore or East Meadow, not sure because it is on the border. Good lUck! I just went thru this myself. It can get very fustrating!
