What do you think about wearing a white dress to someone elses wedding? I have a wedding to go to and I have this white dress, its not ALL white-it has black ribbon and Im considering wearing it. I know Im married but I didnt notice anyone wearing white at my wedding...so I dont know how I would feel as a bride....what should I do?

I wouldn't like if someone wore white to my wedding. I would be cautious and not do it. :)

i would definately not wear white to a wedding other than my own, i feel like the bride should be the only person in white, i would wear another dress and save the white one for another occasion

i would say don't wear it. it wouldn't upset me if a guest wore white, but there are girls out there who would be very upset over it...i wouldn't take the chance of upsetting the bride.

I know you already said you weren't going to wear it (which I think is the right thing to do) but I wanted to share this anyway.....
A girl decided to wear a white dress to my cousins wedding. So while we were all snickering and making remarks someone 'accidentally' spilled red wine on her. When the girl got annoyed my brother's gf turned around and said 'that is what you get for wearing white to someone else's wedding.'
So you don't want to be the girl that 'accedientally' gets red wine spilled on her.

i wouldnt do it. I know that I want to be the only one in white on my wedding day. I think alot of girls feel that way too.

honestly i would care less if someone wore white to my wedding especially if they werent related in the sense of being a grandma, mom, or someone who will be in a lot of hte pro pics. But really I say who cares.
I just think it's silly everyone will know I AM THE BRIDE and unless that person is wearing a full length white dress with a veil WHO CARES! IMO. lol I should be more focused on my DH than a woman wearing white haha
But I guess I will go wiht the majority and say stay on the safe side because not everyone is like this and some brides do get upset.

I wouldn't wear it. I am one of those people who believe that the only person in white / ivory should be the bride. I know that if it was me, I would be very upset that someone was wearing white / ivory to my wedding.
