need opinions!! Help Ladies!!

Do you think black is a bad color for BM for a July wedding???
I am having a some problems deciding....
and 3 of them are trying to get pregnant...
two live out of state...
I figured they could just get their own little black dress and call it a day....
black was the only color that I could think of that I didnt have to worry about shades...
Ceremony starts @ 6:30
What do you ladies think???????

I they might sweat too much, since it's going to be in the summer.
I only wear black everyday, so I want my girls to wear something colorful for my wedding

I personally like bright colors and I plan on getting a spring color for my girls because I'm an April bride. BUT some people like the black dress idea because it's easy. My sister was just in a wedding and all the BM wore black. It did make her life much easier with the shoes and all. So it really depends on what you want and how you would feel if the situation was reversed.

I am getting married in May and I am using black. I think black is elegant. I am sure they can find black dresses that a light yet dressy so they don't get too hot.

I don't think so. I'm using black for my bm. It's not the color as much as the style that will make it look like a winter/summer dress.

Black is totally find. Most people will show up to your wedding wearing black anyway.

Black is very elegant! It's a good color ANY time of the year... The only thing you have to worry about is the type of material.. THAT'S what you have to shop around for. A lighter material for a summer day

i think black is fine, but if you wanted color, you could just go to a company, pick a color, then send your bm's over to pick out the style. i think alfred angelo and david's bridal does this.

i like black though.

Black is fine. Idon't think you can ever go wrong with black for a wedding - regardless of season/time of year - It's classy!

I agree. Black is very elegant. I saw some pics of soon brides wedding who had their BM's in black and they looked stunning. I do believe in the saying, black goes with everything! even with all the seasons.

you can brighten the look of black dresses with flowers. since black goes with anything, you can use bright flowers to make it playful, deep colored roses for sophistication, even white flowers if you wanted.
black is so versatile that although they will be wearing black it doesnt at all mean that it has to be stuffy and formal. im all for it!! im using it as an accent color in my september wedding.

If it's an evening wedding, I don't think you can go wrong with black. I've seen weddings done in February and November with black BM dresses. I think it would look romantic and classy!
