Need Prayers

We just got a call from my dad's doctor saying he will need to start right after my wedding. We knew this was coming, but were hoping it wouldn't be right around the wedding. My wedding is in 5 days, and now I feel so guilty getting ready for everything. I'm packing for my 2 week honeymoon while my father is going to be going for dialysis 3 times a week for 4 hours a day. And I'm leaving home when my family probably needs me the most. I was supposed to dance with my father to 'Sunrise, Sunset' (from Fiddler on the Roof) at the wedding, but my mom just asked me to pick something else b/c she thinks it's too depressing.....that's the least of my worries right now. All your prayers are greatly appreciated. Thanks

honey, just think of this.
Your dad will still be able to share in your special day.
That in itself is a comfort. Family is such a beautiful institution and beleive me..they know how important this day is and they would want you to be HAPPY!

Oh, I am so sorry to hear the news. I am sure your dad will be alright. Try to look on the positive side...you are still getting married and your dad will be there with you. I will be thinking of you.

FH grandpa has been on dialysis for 10 years now
it is tiring on those days but other days he is great
