Hi everyone! I just got engaged yesterday! :)

Looking to get married in Sept or Oct 2009...honestly....Do you girls thinks it doable as far as finding a venue? Or do you think I am nuts and that it will be impossible?

Thank you so much everyone! Great info. I have been calling and my top two choices are available on the date I wanted in September!

No you can definitely do it! I booked and planned my wedding in 6 months time!

Just try to be flexible with the place and the dates and times (day wedding vs night wedding) etc. YOu will find that many halls will be ANXIOUS to fill the date and may be negotiable as far as price is concerned (every place I went was knocking $20 off per head).
