I dont think there is a rift between boards but perhaps a rift between certain people. Categorizing 05s or brides vs. newlyweds is not appropriate because it should does not include every 05, btb, or newlywed.

I am sorry I respectfully disagree with you, because if you look at this thread, there are MANY NW's on here (a lot that are NEVER involved in drama) telling you that they 'feel' the rift and they have been offended.

I for one wasnt there. If one 05er does something, it seems we all did. I dont even know what happened, but as the above post states, it seemed like I was. How about calling the specific girls out instead of just saying the 05er's. I dont have beef with anyone, and I'd like to keep it that way. Through experience in my life, I've learned to look at a person for who they are and not what group they belong to.

And if the people who were involved were named (which there was a lot) then that would cause even more drama.

No jealousy at all here. If anything, I'm thrilled to be done with the stress of wedding planning!

I think the things that you're seeing people talk about are the same things we might have thought were a bit ridiculous while we were planning, but we're more vocal about it now that we've gone through the whole process.

ditto!!!!!!!!! happy with our wedding and although married life is hard, it is nice to not worry about flowers or colors or bridal party members anymore!!!!!!!!

I feel the rift too, and I hate it

I would really hate for there to be tension when it's my turn to be a newlywed (in less than 5 months! ) I can see the frustration on both sides... some things should not have been said, while other's were maybe misiterpreted, which leads to problems, and being defensive.

I wasn't at the WOTY either, I am an 05'er, but I am guilty by association? I've had friendly coversations with some of you, and I would hate to see those stop b/c you didn't like what one person did, and blackball us all.

Here is another 05er piping in to say that I really am not sure who the offenders are. Sometimes I am oblivious. But please don't think we are all bad people. Some of the 05ers have been really nice & helpful to me. At the same time many of the newlyweds have been nice & helpful too. I am hoping to be welcomed over there after Oct. 8. As someone once said, 'Can't we all just get along?'

BUT, since I'm here anyway now. I originally started out posting mainly on the 05' board, but soon became more interested in posting on the NWR board. I post everywhere; BHB, 05' still on occasion, NW, and NWR and have never had a problem with anybody. The fact that there is even a rift at all to begin with is ridiculous. If somebody were to offend me, I'd be mad at that specific person, not their entire 'group', whether they're BTB or NW or whatever. It's all just plain silly. At the end of the day, people are going to start drama, regardless of who they are or whether they've planned their wedding already or not.

1. you are right and i did say in various other posts on this thread that i LOVE a bunch of 05 girls...girls i consider wonderful people..And yea you are right you do get lumped together...

2. There is a rift cause by silly things said on the 05 board! PLAIN AND SIMPLE

3. AND the idiot things continue to go on which is why it never changes ....

It was silly to use the rolleyes emoticon in the post, but it is just as silly to lump us all together, too. How about we drop those two issues and move on?

To be honest i don't think you are lumped together. I talk to 05 and 06 girls on a daily basis...So no i do not lump anyone
