Re: New fox hollow thread
We are considering fox hollow but are concerned about the multiple weddings at once.Went to showcase last night, got to visualize a bit more of the layout than the first time we saw it.
We would be in WGP or outside for ceremony, briarfox or outside for cocktail and garden for reception.
Seems like somerly is pretty separate, and our concern is really the WGP brides.
do they do 2 or 3 weddings per slot? They said there's an hour separation- but I'm not sure where the WGP receptions have the ceremony & cocktail? (especially in inclement weather?)

Re: New fox hollow thread
I wish I could give more advice but I only know/have information about the somerleyI do recall them saying the wedding start times are spread apart to leave everyone time for pictures on the grounds too
I'm having my ceremony there as well but its not until 7:30 so I had asked if I could go at 4 or 5 to take all my pictures and they said it would depend on the other weddings that day and couldn't give me a real answer until it got closer to the actual date

I am one frustrated bride to be right about now. FH tells me two months before the wedding that we are going to have to postpone until next year. I got laid off in July, but figured we could still proceed because the majority of items were already paid for. Then he lost his job and here we are. I am so pissed after all the hard work I've put into the planning of this wedding, it's unbelievable.
Now I have to scramble and reschedule everything and hope that a date is available for the Garden Terrace room in May or October. He says we can't pick a date until he has a new job. Not, it's no way in hell we're going to lose all the money put down towards the RH - he is out of his mind. I just want to get married already. I have a wall full of wedding stuff sitting in my living room and to have to wait another 6-10 months is really pissing me off. It wouldn't have been so bad if I hadn't already sent out invitations. The wait continues. Thanks for letting me vent. Sigh.
Update:
The good news is my fiance and I have picked a new date 9/28/12 (actually I let him choose the new date). The bad news is that we may lose our deposit on RH, which really sucks. We'll have to see what we can negotiate with Fox Hollow. I don't have to buy anything except the candy for the candy buffet. The funny thing about this whole situation is I'm going to have a very early bridal shower - it's in two weeks. Oh well, now I can continue to work on losing the 20lbs I've been fighting to get off. Wish us luck in finding new jobs. The job market out there is really tough.

Re: New fox hollow thread
the exact words I was told by my banquet manager is that they have so many colors to choose from. Now I'm wondering if that is true. Apparently brown is not an option.

didnt they show you all the options when you sat in the office? they were napkins, but they have in both. we noticed no brown bc that's a color in 3 out of 4 of our colors selections.

My primary color is brown. If you really want a napkin color they do not have you can rent them. They are providing me with Chocolate Brown satin chair sashes. I'm still contemplating whether to go with ivory or the gold damask table linens.
If you're getting married on a Friday - this is my timeline.
Pictures: 4:00 or 4:30
Chapel (Winter Garden Pavillion): 6:30
Cocktail Hour (Briar Fox) 7:00 - 8:00
Reception (Garden Terrace) 8:00 - 12:00

I had my wedding recently at the fox hollow. I did the reveal and we took pictures with the BP and alone for almost 2 hours before the start of the ceremony. Remember you want to give yourself at least 20 minutes before the ceremony to head to your bridal suite before guest show up so they don't run into you during pictures.

I feel like Tommy's Tunes prices for those extras are much cheaper - you should give them a call. I'm using them and I've been very happy with their customer service so far. They were very willing to work with us to customize our package and were flexible with their pricing.
