Just wanted to say Hi! This site looks like it is going to help me alot. I am planning the wedding for July 2004. I grew up on Long Island but now live out in Los Angeles, CA and will be flying back for the wedding and other things.
There seems to be tons of info on this site. Any suggestions on the best and worst of it? Any insider tips?

Hi and welcome!!!
We are getting married at East Wind and we are having an outdoor ceremony.
Im getting married there. Its out on the east end of the island and is beautiful. PLUS they have an amazing place for a ceremony with a vineyard backdrop.

I'd suggest looking at John Anthony's in Babylon Village. i was married there on a Friday in June 2202. And if the weather cooperates you can get married and have your cocktail hour outside.

Welcome! and I second The Riviera in Massapequa. It is perfect for your wallet and still beautiful! If not for my sister having just gotten married there in August I would be having my reception there. Definitely check it out.
