New Poll for the night...CHILDREN

It seems that there have been a few post about children attending the wedding. So yet again I'll ask...children or no children.

ETS: FH's nephew is the only child attending wedding. He is the Junior Best Man. He's nine and VERY close with FH.

we want children but not right away, I am 23 and my FH will be 26 when we get married. He wants to wait a few years.

(shhh- secretly, if it was up to me we would have a honeymoon baby!!! )

haha OOPS.. editing this-- I thought u meant children after the wedding guess its been a long day for me. Anyway no children AT the wedding for us

i really didnt want too because my aunts kids are horrible!!!!!! but if we dont and she sess other kids there she will start a fight at the wedding so we figured it will only be about 5 kids uinder 16 so it should be fine!

ok, i voted 'of course', but it really only applies to a few kids.. my daughter and fh's 2 little cousins... theyre in the BP... i didnt want any other kids there, but there might be a few because everyone else thought it was wrong to make it adult only. so i gave in. there really wont be more than like maybe 6 kids anyway though.

FH's first cousins. That is it

We don't have lots of kids in the family yet, so it wasn't really an issue for us.

FH & I went to my parents for dinner tonight. My dad said that he understands about FH's nephew, but he didn't think children shouldn't be there because of the drinking. We are basically supplying transportation for all the OOTers and and one who has booked a room, even locals because of the after party. He'd rather see people having a good time then getting a ride then having a good time and getting in the car with their kids. IDK just Dad's opinion!

EDITED because should and shouldn't are two different thing!!!

My wedding is in a big, outdoor space, so I told everyone to bring their kids and let 'em roam free! The whole atmosphere of the wedding will be pretty laid back, so I have no problem with kids being there.

I'm kinda torn though I know my parents are adamant about no children.

The only definite is MY nephew who we're going to see if he'll walk up the aisle with his father...he's only 2. He's really the only one I want there since he's my world!

FH has a few cousins that are between 12 and 17, not crazy about inviting them tho i wasn't really given a choice.

Originally we were going to invite some of the OOT'ers with kids but I've kinda changed my mind about this because I don't want to p!ss anyone off.

Damn now I have even more thoughts going around in my head.
