Hello everyone,

I'm Valerie, I've been engaged since March of 07, but because of some crazy family issues, we haven't been able to dedicate any time to planning our wedding until now.

My fiance and I planning on a 'short booking' and hope to get married in September or early October both to save money and because we just want to be married already. So far we have looked at some places and picked out our rings. That's it! So I'll need all the help I can get.

I have already found so much great information on this site and look forward to learning even more!

Welcome aboard !!! Congratulations - Do you mean Sept/Oct 2008 ?? You can definitely get everything together by then The ladies here are the best - just post your question, comment or vent and they have solutions !!! Booking in a short amount of time will get you a great price - any dates available need to get booked so they'll offer you great deals !! So here are some LIW questions. If I have a question about negotiating with RH's is it better to post on 08 brides or Brides Helping Brides? How do you keep up with the postings? WHAT ON EARTH IS A BUMP???

Royalton was in my top three........... the guy I orig talked to was John? in Feb and since we were looking at Oct this year he said its normally $175pp but he would do $160 pp. When I brought FH to look at it Gerard said he would honor that price. And now you are talking about an even shorter time frame so see what they can do for you. Good luck........

Talk to Gerard...he is great and should def match the 160....he may even throw in some other stuff....i cant wait i have 195 days til my big day there and can not wait!!!!!!
