I'm Valerie, I've been engaged since March of 07, but because of some crazy family issues, we haven't been able to dedicate any time to planning our wedding until now.
My fiance and I planning on a 'short booking' and hope to get married in September or early October both to save money and because we just want to be married already. So far we have looked at some places and picked out our rings. That's it! So I'll need all the help I can get.
I have already found so much great information on this site and look forward to learning even more!

Congratulations and welcome...I have/had a short engagement too (I got engaged in December and we are marrying this July!!!) so if you need any advice...now is a great time to book a hall, they know they are coming into 'crunch time' when they might not book the dates at all so they are usually willing to give you a better deal or negotiate!!
