Newly engaged and already behind! Looking for venues
Hello, I am a newly engaged (New Years Eve--total surprise!) and want to get married in Sept/Oct 2015. I know I am late in the game and worried about pricing and availability. I am open to Friday, Saturday or Sunday. so Could someone please FM some quotes for the following venues. I am trying to get an idea of affordability before I call so a quote for any month will do.1) Fox Holllow
2) Jericho Terrace
3) Crest Hollow
4) Douglaston
5) Larkfield
6) Swan Club
7) Riveria
8) Westbury Manor
9) Woodbury Country Club
I don't even know when I'll have time to visit them all!! I admire the work you all have put in so far. Wish me luck :)

Re: Newly engaged and already behind! Looking for venues
Unfortunately I cannot help with any of these but have you sent them emails? I emailed all of my venues and heard back within 1-2 days!! I just booked in the beginning of December for 10.25.15 and I found a lot of places still had afternoon alots available as well as Halloween weekend if you're flexible.

You have fm for the quotes I have. you may have to be flexible about day of the week and time of reception if you're dead set on this fall. definitely call around and ask if they have any available dates left before wasting your time with a tour. A lot of brides who got engaged this holiday season will be looking for the same time frame so definitely get on it asap so you can find the perfect place that's available. If you're flexible with day of the week and time of day, you'll have a lot more options.

Re: Newly engaged and already behind! Looking for venues
Thanks for your help. I definitely want to get married this year so great advice to be open and flexible. That's so hard to when you want your dream wedding, but I am optimistic, at least today, that I will find the perfect place!
