Does anyone know of any places to stay in Newport, RI? We're planning on taking a mini honeymoon Columbus Day weekend and would like to stay at a cute bed and breakfast, or a nice hotel. Any suggestions? I also welcome any fun activity suggestions! Thank you!

YES! my friend stayed at Hotel Viking and loved it!! And i've stayed at Castle Hill Inn and it was really nice as well! HTH!
I've stayed at the Hyatt - which was fantastic!!! But if you want a cute B&B check out http://www.ithacalodging.worldweb.com/BedBreakfasts/ which features so many B&B's. There are quite a few really cutes ones by the downtown marina area which would be a GREAT place to stay since you can walk everywhere and dont have to stress about parking.
We stayed at a really cute and quaint B&B called the Touro Park Inn.
We stayed at a Holiday Inn in the next town over. It was much cheaper and only like a 5 min drive. Have fun!
We're going a few weeks later and staying at the Inn on Bellevue, very nice and afforable, also walking distance to everything.
we are leaving tomorrow to spend labor day weekend in Newport....we are staying at the Hyatt!
