:( no TGIF for me

I have to tell FH that I got into a car accident with his car today

I am OK but this retired PO decided to make a U-turn (right under a sign that says no U-turn) and hit the back of his brand new car. Didn't even break 5k on the car yet

glda you are ok.

dont worry about the car, just as long as you are ok.

when FI and I started dating I crashed his car into a brand new literally 3 weeks old 4 runner.

He was mad about the car but happy that I was ok.

Just tell him what happened and I am sure he'll be upset about the car, but he'll be happy to know you are ok.

Ohh god that is awful!! Im glad that you are ok though! Im sure your FH will be glad that you arent hurt and if the other driver is at fault then everthing will be paid for

But seriously ladies, we all know that despite our beloved's being concerned for our well being that their car is like 1# to them. Don't get too upset if he gets sort of ****y or makes comments about female driving and stuff. He can't help it, he's only a guy....

I'm happy to hear you are o.k. that is first and foremost but he probably will be a tad upset. i did the same thing to FI's car. i was backing out of a parking lot an didn't see the pole and I took off the driver's side mirror. he was upset but they get over it. Hugs

OK just spoke to him-- First words out of his mouth-- am I ok?

Proud of him for that!

He is not happy but he is not mad at me -- thankfully but he is not happy about the car

I am trying to tell him that he might not even notice the scrapes. He is like I WILL notice them!

He is ****ed-- won't be fun here when he gets home! But I am glad that he is not screaming at me---- yet

I still can't not believe this guy did a u-turn right in the middle of 110 and under a sign that says no u-turn---- here is the kicker he pointed out the sign to me--lol He was a nice guy but geez

Thank God you are okay

Your FH can't get mad at you - it wasn't your fult at all. He will be bad I'm sure. Just keep reminding him to take it out on the car and not you.

Dont worry its not your fault and I don't think he will take it out on you. Just tell him everything from the beginning and its not like it can't get fixed. He will be happy that you are ok.

Sorry to hear about the accident. That is not a fun way to start a weekend. . But glad to hear that you are are okay and that FI was worried about you before the car! Shows his priorities are in order . Give him a big hug and kiss and tell him you love him and appreciate that he was more worried about you than the car. Maybe it will help!

Last night he said that it did not look too bad but it was dark. I am leaving for class in a few minutes so he will see it when I get home-- keeping my fingers crossed. But boy was he a grumpy SOB when he got home last night

thank goodness you are ok - i remember the first time fh let me drive his car way back when - he toldf me that he feels i am a safe driver and that i shoudl never worry about the car - just myself and anyone driving w/ me - he said the car is just a car but didn't want anyoen to get hurt!!
