Not good news

Hey girls.....so our wedding is 24 hrs away and this week has been miserable. We got a call on Wednesday afternoon that FH's dad had a heart attack. It was a 'Widow Maker' heart attack and they were surprised he survived. He is doing ok now, and has been released from ICU. This all happened in MD while FH and I are in NY getting ready for our day. This has changed everything. FFIL won't be at the wedding

FH is heartbroken and this has changed the dynamic of everything for us. Forget about the fact that we have been rocky the past few weeks due to stress and what not.

We have in the past 2 days...had 8, yes 8 cancellations. Due to illnesses and lay offs. We are both so upset right now. We can't seem to get back to the place where we used to be. Our rehearsal is in less than two hours and we are both a mess.

Please pray that tomorrow is an amazing day in spite of all that is working against us.

Aww, I'm sooo sorry to hear this! Try and stay positive, I know it's hard, but your day will be wonderful and remember, the best part about tomorrow is that you will be marrying the man that you love! You will have an amazing day. Chin up!!!

i am so so so sorry to hear this! I can only imagine how the dynamic has changed. I'm wondering if there isnt some way you can set up like a 'video conference' thing at your wedding so that he might be able to see it, even though he can't be there.

I feel so bad for you, and I hope that even through all of these obstacles, you are able to have a wonderful day!

Awww Im sorry that this is happening but just try n smile and keep thinking positive everything will be ok you are both stressed out and once the day gets here just breath and enjoy it~

I'm so sorry you're going through all of this. I just feel awful. Thankfully FFIL survived...I can't even imagine how much worse it could have been.

We'll all be thinking about you this weekend...it's still going to be a beautiful day, and just look forward and know that everything happens for a reason, and it will all work out in the end.

wish you nothing but the best on your special day. Prayers go out to FFIL on a speedy recovery. Even though he wont be physically there he will be watching over both of you as you share your wedding vows.
