Is anyone else NOT planning to see their FH or FW before the ceremony?? I'm trying to decide what to do about taking pictures. Our ceremony is at the RH and the cocktail hour is immediately following, so no time to take pics except at cocktail hour. Was thinking of getting the family pictures done with before the ceremony... for both sides.....so that all we will have to worry about is the bride/groom pictures during the wedding.
Grrrrrrr.....any suggestions?? Thanks

im not but im also getting married in church...i am old fashion thou and even if i got married in the rh i wouldnt want to see him until i walked down...

I am also old fashion and I think the reveal make awesome pictures. And i love the idea of it however, I am just too old fashioned and just want that moment walking down the aisle. JMO

We decided to NOT see each other before the ceremony.
The photographer took this amazing close-up picture of my DH at the moment he saw me walk into the church.

We're not seeing each other before the ceremony. We decided to stick with the tradition of the groom seeing the bride for the first time when I walk down the aisle. This is just us though. Don't get me wrong, I love all the pictures of brides and grooms and the 'reveal', its just not right for us.

ive always pictured the first time FH see's me is as i walkk down, and he even said the same thing. so we will get as many pics before as we can w/o seeing each other, so the WP can enjoy some of CH.
everyone iknow how did meet before loved it too, i think it all depends on what you want and how you pictured it.

def not seeing him before church. We dont have much time to take pics after church then hall but i dont care.. We both dont want to see eachother before either.

I originally thought i didnt want to see the groom beforehand. But i want to enjoy every moment of my wedding. The day will go so fast so i dont want to miss it. I think the reveal moment ks more intimate. Your make up and hair is at its freshest for pictures. You the bms and moms havent cried yet. After the ceremony u might need to retouch. It will still be emotional

We are going to attempt not to see each other before the ceremony. We;ll try to fit in family pics before the ceremony (his side at his parents/my side at RH, I'll get there early) We shall see... but we are both excited about that. Thanks for sharing all of your ideas ladies !!
