Not the usual 'and guest' question...

Original post by coldasice217

So we are inviting FH's Aunt's in laws to the wedding (it's just the way they roll lol). They are elderly, and require a nurse aide at all times for FH's Aunt's MIL. We are obviously inviting the aide a) because we need to and b) because she takes care of them.

But what's the appropriate way to indicate this? Mr. & Mrs. X & Guest (allowing them to assume we mean the nurse?), Mr. & Mrs. X & aide? Mr. & Mrs. X & Nurse?

Or just Mr. & Mrs. X and let it just say 'three seats have been reserved for you...' on the personalized rsvp card?

could you send her a separate invite to avoid confusion? or is that really stange lol

What if you enclosed a little note just in their invitation stating that they are welcome to bring the aide with them and that a space at their table has been reserved for him/her... HTH
