We're getting married in a Catholic church
well then they'll do it the way it is for all saturday weddings, it has to be before 5pm which is when they have a mass. So doesn't really explain anything and it doesnt effect your day. OUr friends got married this november 2nd, didnt know it was all souls day lol

but they told her it was all souls day which really isn't a big deal and is on the 2nd; all saints day is a holy day of obligation on the 1st and a bigger deal but not if she's not catholic/christian.
i guess i wouldn't want them telling me incorrectly that i'm getting married on the 'day of the dead' if it's really the day of all saints
i am almost sure its all saints day this is what i remember being told on wednesday when i asked how come the RD was on wednesday. And they couldn't rehearse at the church bc they had something going on for all saints day
Oh yeah, Nov 1st is all saint's day but someone told her it was all souls day (which is the 2nd) your wedding was friday right? so they didn't do the RD the night before b/c it was all saints day. .... SO technically you're friend got married on all souls day (day of the dead)!
