Number of Halls Visited Before booking???

I've visited 15 venues already and dont LOVE any. A few are OK but all have some negatives.

How many venues did you see before booking your venue???

Hi- What are you looking for, maybe some of us can help point you in the right direction. What area also? I looked at about 10. When I walked into the Old Field Club I just got goosebumps.

We looked at around 6...

We looked at 4. One of which we hated (the BM anyway). One was ok, definitely not us. We narrowed it down to CLM and Villa Lombardi's. Ultimately we chose Villa. We knew even before we were engaged that this was the place that's why we only looked at a few. One of my best friends looked at 22 places. You'll find the ONE. I'm sure of it.

We looked at 7, but we both loved the first one, and that was the one we went with.

I think it was 11, i'm not sure. And we were retarded, we actually booked 2! Thankfully we came to our senses, cancelled and booked JT!

We visited one and only one. We knew what we wanted before we even went in.

We looked at 6. We were somewhat limited by the size of our wedding (it's a little bit big). We also didn't want to pick a place that was recently used by one of our friends.

I limited it down to 2 and I had the FH pick.

We looked at 3, booked the 2nd one. Loved it the minute we walked in and FH loved the price even more. Only looked at another one afterwards to confirm our feelings...HTH!

We looked at 4 places and went with the last one.

1. Milleridge Inn
2. Sans Souci
3. Swan Club
4. Fox Hollow

I was just trying to find a place that I had not attended a wedding at and of course loved - and Fox Hollow won out! Plus they gave me the best deal!

I visited 4 and booked the first one I looked at. I had called other halls but they did not have any available dates that I was interested in.
It really came down to price and available dates. All the halls had positives and negatives.

Do you have a fave?

I like the grounds of Oheka Castle, the views of Rainbow Room, entrance of Waldorf Astoria, lobby of Four Seasons, and service at St. Regis.

No place has EVERYTHING. =(

Wevisited about 10 halls. Then visited our top three choices for a second time and decided on our third visit!!!

Two - I was able to eliminate tons of halls by finding out what minimums were, price per head, location, one wedding at a time which I wanted. We walked into Giorgio's and fell in love. Booked on the spot.
