omg not only can u NOT understand what they are saying....but once i was asking a question and he was like 'in order for me to keep helping you, you need to pay so and so' it was like $40 im like WHAT?!?!?! (because i wasnt under warrenty or something) anyone else have that?? i ended up hanging up and tried to get a friend to fix my computer before i called again and told them i needed to send it in
As me and FH husband were JUST talking about his laptop b.c. it just crashed on him, I see this post. He called and they want to charge him 39.99 which I think is sooo unfair considering the laptop is just over a year old. uughhh i soooooooo hate Dell.

That's how I felt but you get used to it. With my next mac I'm definitely going to take the classes they offer to learn how to use it

Oh no!!!!!!! I had my Dell laptop for about 2 years when it crashed. It had been really slow so in November when it crashed, I bought myself a Macbook. I hope you get a new one that's not Dell!!!

I have always used Dells for work and the desk top never gave me a problem except that after 2 or 3 years they are crap -- FH works for IBM so the word Dell is not even in his vocabulary so now I am an IBM lap top snob.
ETA: If you really need help with them let me know. FH does side work on this type of stuff -- and he is here -- not India!

ME TOO! I have a dell - there are these lines that mysteriously came across the bottom of the screen. I hate my dell. So, I got a macbook too. I am still getting used to it...I can't figure some stuff out b/c I'm used to a pc. oh well! it will be interesting to learn :)
