She is attacking women stating that they are using their husband's death for fortune.

Well...according to her own theory she is no different! She is creating a scandal because her book is out!!!

I have to say... I usually REALLY like Ann Coulter and usually agree with her and have only heard accounts of what she allegedly said... I have to get more information and read the book before I can comment. I really hope she didn't say what I heard she said second hand on the radio this morning (can't believe everything you hear or read these days). I can't believe she would have said what she said as a general statement about ALL the 911 victims wives.

Her comments were ballsy and probably over the top.. and I don't agree with them and don't think she should have said them, but in America we do have Freedom of Speech. I do hate when people exploit emotional tragedies, like 9-11, to push a political party - or when a political party uses a group like them for their own purposes (I think that's where she was going with this). I remember this group of four women from New Jersey campaigning during the presidential campaign... they kind of ticked me off then, too. (she's only talking about 4 women... the way I heard it on the radio this morning was that she was talking about ALL the widows of 911!! Yikes! I'm glad that at the VERY least that's not the case!!!)

Again... we probably still disagree on this - I don't think she should have been so HARSH.. but I don't think she's a disgusting witch! . But at least we both love weddings!

You know what? I agree it seems crazy to make such statements HOWEVER I do think some folks (not necessarily the people cited here) have lost sight of the core issues that caused/mitigated/affected/ 911. If anything, her books are provocative and get people thinking and talking for and against her view point-and dialog is a cornerstone of our society. Therefore, I feel she offers something that not many others can.

Even if it was about 4 women and not all of the wives of 9-11 victims, it is still disgusting. I would NEVER make a comment about a person that has died in such a tragic way, and if I would even be capable of thinking that way, I certainly wouldn't voice that opinion. I'm all for freedom of speech but lets be honest here, those comments are ridiculous, and thats putting it lightly!

it's pretty disgusting, the lengths some will go to sell their book. the only thing more disgusting is that it's working and her sales are up.

As a very 'conservative' person, I do want to let you know, she doesn't speak for ALL of 'us'. I tend to dislike her for the same reasons I dislike Al Franken, Janine Garafolo, et all. There is room for political disagreement without personal attacks or flagrant 'headline grabbers.'

i cannot stand her. she says the most racist things about asians, muslims, & makes horrible comments regarding women and gay/lesbians.

i am a firm believer in free speech and differences in opinions, but I absolutely can't stand people who need to use racial slurs and name-calling to get their point across. it's just so childish.

it's beyond me how she has such a loyal fan club.
