I usually go to Sushi Samba in the city but I wanna try something different...City or Queens! Thanks

There is
Shiro of Japan which is located at the Atlas Park Mall in Glendale (it's hibachi as well)

and there's

Jade Kings located on 191st street and Union Turnpike... cute restaurant, but the sushi is amazing!!!!!! ....oh and the price is very reasonable as well

If you want something low key, I love Narita in Forest Hills or Planet Thailand in Williamsburgh (BK/Queens border). Somethin' fancier, try Nobu or Megu.. both in the city.

Is it good? I live 2 blocks away...but have never heard of anyone who went there. I've been wanting to try it, but I'm iffy about trying new sushi places. Fh won't eat much raw stuff though, so it has to have good specialty rolls...let me know please.

I used to live in Narita when I lived closer to Forest Hills. Now I'm craving it and want to go there tonight !

Sushi Twist is amazing. It's like a hidden gem. It's great for a date or just to chill with friends its on Madison between 27th and 28th, not too big not too small really trendy. The volcano rolls are the BEST i've ever had. and the bar makes great drinks

I LOVE sushi, and can be a bit of a sushi snob.
Yama on 18th Street and Irving Place in the city is one of the best sushi places I've ever been to. Its not at all fancy, and gets very crowded, but it is worth it!
There is another location on Houston Street, which is also good, I just don't remember exactly where.

In the city Nobu. In Astoria, Queens WATAWA is EXCELLENT. Bond Street Sushi downtown is great too.

its pretty good
they do have alot of specialty rolls..
I havent been there for a while though
but you should definitely try it~

Ok so I got a little overwhelmed seeing all those recommendations and got very indecisive at which to choose...so we ended up going with Sushi Samba lol thank you so much though cause I wrote them ALL down for when I decide to go on my next sushi escapade (in the next few days lol...my belly needs sushi at least 3 times a week...YUMMMM)
