Kelly I really dont have any advice cause I am not a teacher yet. But to me it sounds like this kid not only has a bullying problem but possibly a behavior disorder and I am suprised he has not received harsher punishments. I dont give a f u c k if his mom is PTA He should have been punished for doing that to your son!!!!!!

but i would like to say I am soo sorry this has happened to your son. i dont get children these days they can be soooooo mean and soooo cruel and where do they get it from. Oh and if that mother allowed her son to get away with it at home and didnt punish him she is just condoning it and that is awful and ridiculous and parents these days need to grow the F up and control their children

I read a book recently about bullying in elementary and high school it was such a great true story book. ill get the name of it maybe you could read it i dont know if it would help you and your feelings.

that would be awesome thanks....I mean I feel bad but pointed out to him that if he can take on his brother he can def protect himself and if he gets intr ouble we will deal with it ,,,,

yes i mean at this point it seems you hvae done alot and the last thing to do is tell him to protect himself and deal with it when it happens...i am sorry but your son should NOT have to go through this. Actually last school year my brother (he is 9) was getting really bullied on the bus. So much so that he would scream and yell at my mom that he wasnt getting on the bus in the morning and was going in late to school. This kid on the bus was pushing him out of his seat and spitting on him and my brothers friend and not letting them pass a certain point in the bus by blocking them from getting down the aisle. And the bus driver said take it up with the school. So my mom did and they said take it up with the bus driver or company or contact the kids parents. And my mom did and the mom didnt believe him. So my mom went up to the principal and was pissed and finally got the kid in trouble. and he wasnt allowed on the bus for the last 3 months of school.

the name of the book is 'Please Stop Laughing at Me' by Jodee Blanco

It is such a great book but soo sad at the same time. But maybe it will help. It was with a girl though.

i would say have him talk to a therapist - a good one will def help show him how to deal and help decrease his anxiety over the situation. you are not going to change the kid nor the mother.

interstingly..and i'm not sure why.. but parents are hesitant to contct the police ot handle school issues.. kelly, if things start jumping off at your childs school...and this goes to ANY PARENT... and u are NOT getting satisfaction from the administrators at school. YOU ARE ENTITLED to contact your local police department to file a complaint.. the poster who mentioned the problems on the bus and the driver who directed the parent to the school and the school wo directed the parent to the bus.. direct yourself to the police department!!!

children CAN get restraining orders and if they do have them thent he school is forced to take action..

please kelly dont feel helpless.. u can file police reports.. u can have the police meet you at the school and file a complaint there... trust me.. nothing catches a school's attention like a couple of cop cars outside..

as an admin. i tell parents to contact the police - especially when it does not happen at school
i understand the urinating was at school, but in terms of bus incidents - i know in the city, we cannot see what happens on the bus since we are not there

i do not suggest therapy the OTHER boy needs therapy, this will only make him rehash the events that happened
wait and see how the year starts out
new year, new teacher, different classmates

It will only make him rehash? yes in a perfect workld the other boy would go to therapy and deal with the issues as to why he is like that (prob cause his mother lets him- but whatever) But i think it would be beneficial for her son to talk it out with someone, learn how to deal with the situation, his emotions and to decrease his anxiety.

Now of course im not telling Kelly she HAS to send her son to therapy, that is her choice, but i disagree with your reasons of 'because it will only rehash it' her son is too young to be able to pretend it never happened OR to wait till the new school year starts..
