I handed in my letter of resignation today!!!!

I will no longer be working in mid-town. I will be working on Long Island for a very reputable company. Instead of waiting 3 - 3 1/2 hours in commuting time, I will driving at most 10 - 15 minutes each way to work. OMG I can get sleep!!! Woo Hoo!!

Congrats! It's always good leave on a good note. I left my last job on a really good note, and was told I'd always be welcome back. That was before they went out of business, hehe.

I would have handed it in sooner but was waiting for my background check to go through.

They wanted a contact from my old job that went out of business....thank God for Faceboook that i reconnected with an old co-worker and i was able to use her as a reference at last minute on Friday afternoon, and at 5:00 pm they called me to say the check went good and that I could hand in my letter, meanwhile I was already on my way home on the train.
