I had interviews left and right the past few days and still have more scheduled that I now have to cancel, but I landed 2 offers today and accepted one!!
It's paying 2K less than what I was last making, but I can live with that!! The hours are 9-5 and it's WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE to my house!! (granted probably about a 20-30 min walk, but it's only about a 1-2 min drive!)
I don't technically start until the 13th or 14th, because the person training me is going on vacation, but since I have 2 weeks severance pay and the winnings from Saturday, I should be okay!
I feel so much better now!!

Thanks all!!! Almost makes me feel like my crying about losing my job last week was silly!!!
I'll be working as a bookkeeper for a construction company that is run out of the owner's house. The entire basement is a modern office, and it's pretty nice!!
It's right off Old Willets Path near the Police Station in Smithtown. Those that know where I live, know exactly how close that is to my house!! (It's equivalent to 1/2 a mile)
