I went to a placement fair yesterday in Queens and I got a job in P.S 104 in Far Rockaway! I am very excited and scared out of my mind at the same time!!! Im sure it will be a wonderful experience. The principal and other staff i met with were so nice. And the principal told me not to buy a thing b/c she will get me whatver supplies i want. I cant wait to start orientation. Any girls teaching in the city that can offer any advice i would gladly welcome it! I am sooo relieved.

I just got a call for another interview on the island....in elmont. man i thought i was going to have a hard time finding a job and now have so many interviews. This is getting stressful and confusing! I guess its better to have choices rather than no choices.

Yes...but I also sent paper resumes to EVERY district in both nassau and suffolk county. I have heard that OLAS never gets you anywhere. Most people say they never hear of anything through that.

Hey I grew up in Far Rockaway and I went to that school as a kid. I live in Patchogue now. Don't worry it is in a nice area. They are little kids they can't be so bad.
