Just noticed the other post...but I second Willow =)
We take our two pit bulls to Willow Pet Hotel. They have long indoor/otdoor runs and then can have individual playtime with a member of the kennel staff out in the yard. They are really great with mine, who usually don't like everyone but seem to love the staff there.
Here is there website:

thanks ... I looked into them and their d/o, p/u times stink too. why do all kennels have such weird hours for this??? but they are on the way to the airport, i will call them too. i have a pit who does not get along with other dogs - do you know if she will be isolated from other dogs?? this is important. i do like the indoor/outdoor pens, that is what she is used to. i think we paid for 1 playtime a day? not a lot but they add up ... maybe I will do 2 a day this time.
I know what you mean about pickup/drop times not being helpful. Definitely give them a ring and see if they can help out.
I don't think the dogs are isolated unless you need them to be. I know the kennel manager once mentioned that the kennel is divided into sections: active/young dogs, scared/timid/quiet dogs, and the older dogs. They are pretty knowledgeable, so I think if you explain how your dog is, they can tell you how they would deal. I know they also do kennel tours so you can check it out yourself.
We usually get one play time a day. We thought that was enough because a lot of time they run up and down their runs chasing the other dogs. Even with one play time, they come home exhausted.
thanks. as long as they offer 'isolation' - as weird as that sounds - i'm happy to check them out. some places are more like doggy day care where everyone must be in one room, and that's not good for dutchie.
as for play time, i am not too worried about her getting exercise - she sleeps all day and only gets about 40 mins of exercise a day when she goes out in the yard (10 mins at a time). i am more worried about her needing interaction with people and that's why i would want to give her 2 playtimes a day. i worry she'll be sad and lonely.
thanks to everyone! i now have two great places to check out and i now know that k9 is not the best place to go. thanks again!
