It's my birthday this weekend and my Dad wants to take me out for dinner. Any suggestions.

On Mothers day My FH and I took my mother to Wild Honey in Oyster Bay... IT WAS SOOOOO GOOD!

But you MUST make reservations... it is a very small place kind of looks like a coffee house but its a white table cloth resturant...

Soooooo Good!!!!

Great food and great atmosphere...the prices are pretty reasonable for what you get

Don't know what area but La Plage in Wading River is good and very pretty.

ETA: cirellas in melville, i believe that's still suffolk or right on the border. also, sagamore steakhouse in syosset!! and pasta, pasta in port jeff is great-- then for dessert, toast is like right next door and they have amazing chocolate fondue and wine!!!
