NWR - Need Suggesions for Where to Have FH's Bday Party in Suffolk

FH is turning 40 in January and he really wants to have a party out somewhere, not at our house. Obviously since we're getting married in March, we won't have money to spend on that. When I said that to him, he got really upset, so I figured at least I could try to find a place. I guess I'm looking for a place where I could rent the whole bar for a few hours, or maybe just a private room. Don't need tons of food, maybe just some appetizers. Does anyone know of any place? We live in Setauket, so something not too far from there. TIA

Brick House Brewery-really affordable and they have a nice upstairs room with your own private bar

Thanks Jen. I actually called both them and John Harvard's. The guy at Brick House was very nice and we like it there, so I am hoping he can work with me on the price a little.
