My FH and I just had a fight about - what else?- sex. He says that most normal couples have sex twice a day. Is that true?

We've been dating for ten years and living together for four. So what if we've had a lull lately?

If hes lucky a few times a week!
But any single guy or just starting to date someone maybe I can see 2 times a day but not now!!!

Twice a day, every day???? I don't think so. Maybe twice a weekend day, but certainly not Monday through Friday unless both halves of the couple are independently wealthy and therefore unemployed.

Sounds like your FH, and his single friends are reading too much Cosmo or Maxim. I don't even believe that single people have that much sex... at least not beyond the teen years, and that was only because as a teenager no one knows what they're doing, so if you can't get quality, quantity it is to satisfy those raging hormones. His friends are lying to him - it's what single men do to try to make committed men sad about being committed, and make themselves feel better about being single. I'm convinced it's all an act.

We're lucky if we do it once a week because half the time we're too tired!!! (Which reminds me, tonight might be a good night LOL)

That and right now I just don't feel comfortable with myself otherwise we would be doing it more....oh well, hitting the gym tomorrow and from now on!!

And yeah, as for the 2x a day thing, I don't think I was ever at that rate except when I was 18!!! Maybe a few times when I was 25, but those were long distance relationships!!!

Seems they all say this at one point. Honestly we do a few times a week, but we havent been together for 2 years yet and dont see each other as much due to crazy schedules so we take advantage when we do.

DON'T WORRY MY FH AND I HAVE SEX MAYBE ONCE A WEEK AT MOST AND IT DOESN'T BOTHER US. WE ENJOY THE COMPANIONSHIP MOSTLY AND WE ARE TO TIRED AT THE DAY.

IN OUR YOUNGER YEARS IT WAS TWICE OR THREE TIMES A DAY BUT THAT WE NINE YEARS AGO.

Between our schedules, we're lucky if it's 2x a week!

I hear ya sister....two people and 4 jobs, I barely see the man, much less have sex 2x a day...YIKES! I am so glad I am not the only one.

Considering we have two beautiful children 4, and 2, both work full time, future husband is going for his masters, and the day only last 24hrs, we're lucky to get it when we can!
