NWR: No matter how you feel about NYPD right now...

please say a prayer or send a good thought out to my FH. he works in South Jamaica, Queens in the area that the big controversial shooting happened, and let's just say it hasn't been easy these past few days. this has nothing to do with how you might feel about the shooting (excessive or not excessive), but my FH is a good cop who is just doing his job on the streets right now....and well he's getting many leering looks and lots of threatening remarks from the residents out there...just when he's walking around or patroling.

i am sorry for the family of the shooting victim from sat. night, but my FH is MY famil;y and now because of all this fall-out, i have to worry that someone will retaliate against him. please keep him and all officers that were NOT involved in any of this drama in your thoughts.
