I know some people may not like this thread,,, but I am very emotional about the 9/11 events. Anytime there is something that triggers memories of 9/11 I get very sad and tear up already. But now with ceremonies begining and tommarow being the day,, I am just sad.
So I am off to work, I am sorry to post and run. But please keep all these people who passed and their loved ones in your prayers.

Re: NWR- So Emotional.
when i went to work today, the news vans were already starting to set up... it started affecting me today.
i happen to be on vacation. I got home late the night before from vegas & sleep thorugh it all.. i kept hearing the phone ringing. i thought everybody was calling to see how my vacation was. little did i know... they were calling to see if i was alive. ......
it really puts things into perspective.. what is important in life.. like when i get mad at FH for stupid stuff.. i try not to go to bed mad anymore..
Glad we have this board to express our feelings...
God Bless & good night

Re: NWR- So Emotional.
i completely understand how all of you are feeling!!! I get very emotional on 9/11 for several reaons. One being my dad worked in the city at the citibank building that also collapsed. He got out thankfully but saw the second plane hit and he said it was unbelieveable sight. And it was horrible since we hadn't heard from him until later that day. Plus I remember some students leaving cause their fathers were either in the building or firefighters who died in the towers.
And another thing I want to mention is just remember your loved ones. i know everyone gets mad at each other at times and yells and fights. But always be grateful for them and tell them how much you appreciate them! I tell my FH that almost every other day!! It might be because i dont ever see him since he is stationed overseas. But this year it hit me hard thinking about what he is doing for this country. And how because of 9/11 he has the chance of going to Iraq. Which I believe he is very strong and honorable in doing so. However last week he told me that by next week he will have a definite answer and date and time for when and if he goes to Iraq! I got sooo emotional at first thinking how i dont want him to go. But then i thought he is standing up for all those who were killed in 9/11 and I AM SOOO PROUD OF HIM!!!!!!!! And of course I dont want him to go and wouldnt even begin to think what it would be like without FH in my life god forbid. But that is another reason to why i tell him I love him and appreciate everything he does!!!!!!!!
