Most people are shocked to hear this. I grew up in Queens with a tiny backyard so we obviously didn't have a pool. I only started to learn to doggy paddle when I started dating FH. If and when we live in LI (and if we have a pool)..I promised myself I will learn.
Am I the only one??

ME TOO! i taught for about 7 years, from 2 month old babies to adults, ive taught them all! i miss it so much.
its NEVER too late to learn to swim, even if its just water adjustment from a safety perspective or to do aqua classes at the gym!
if we ever have a swimming G2G, we can teach you guys!

I love the water and swear I can swim, but FH and I went to our friend's house over the summer and he has a pool. I kept saying to FH~Look daddy, look how good I swim (head under water, gurgle gurgle). He always makes fun of me about it.
